Our Process

stage 1: plan

We begin by clearly defining your desired micro/macro outcome(s) and creating a detailed action PLAN.  This is the foundational piece of the puzzle that will act as a guide in supporting you as you work towards your destined accomplishment.

stage 2: prepare

Preparation is the most important part of the process.  This is the stage where the magic happens.  Not for the faint of heart; this is mainly why you sought us out.  Our goal is to create the necessary physiological adaptations and manifest a mindset that will allow you to demolish your performance goals in the next stage.

stage 3: perform

What’s the point of putting in the hours of dedicated, hard work if you aren’t willing to showcase the results? In this stage we are here to compete!  It’s time to put your hard earned efforts on display and see how you match up!

stage 4: progress

Now it’s time to reflect, recalibrate, reprioritize and re-engage.  This is where we go back to the drawing board and evaluate our performance, where we can improve, and how we are going to push the envelop moving forward.  Chasing greatness is a process, and that’s why we must consciously identify and refine our strengths/weaknesses.

I have worked with Garrett for over a year now and have seen tremendous growth and development in my agility, coordination, explosiveness, strength, running mechanics, muscle awareness, and overall confidence in the weight room. Garrett is always keen to new technologies: we have corrected my running using in-depth video analysis and utilized instruments to measure power output and muscle fatigue. While he has catered my workouts to fit my position in my sport, Garrett is always conscious of how he can adjust and improve our sessions.

My time with Garrett has been the most valuable in my entire history of athletics and overall training.  He was with me every step of the way through my rehab and recovery from a torn ACL, Lateral/Medial Meniscus, and a sprained LCL.  From Day 1, Garrett provided me with a layout and a path that we would set course on, and immediately I was pleasantly surprised with his dedication to our work every day, but also his increasing knowledge every week and it became apparent that he was learning and studying ACL injuries and injury prevention as we were going through the initial stages of the process. What I appreciated the most was that Garrett came with his same genuine energy, dedication, and love for what he does from when I could barely walk and was 170 pounds, all the way to being fully recovered and reaching our goal of 200 pounds.  I truly believe that training with Garrett changed my trajectory as an athlete and played a major role in getting the chance to compete at the Division 1 level.
