About Phenom Illinois

Phenom Illinois (formerly Cardinals) is a member of  Phenom Nation. Phenom Baseball is a non-for-profit national baseball organization with players and teams in 16 states, including Illinois. Phenom is a premier baseball organization focused on player development providing players with increased national exposure helpful in earning a college scholarship.

Phenom Nation brings new opportunities & benefits to players in our area, including;

  • NIKE uniforms. Sponsorships from Nike, Jaeger, Gatorade, Zinger bats, Blast, Baden, Axe Bats and others
  • Phenom Illinois players can progress to Phenom National Signature teams as their skills improve
  • National support of Phenom Illinois training and player development activities
  • Opportunities to play with other Phenom state teams
  • Players from other Phenom states can be invited to play with Phenom Illinois teams

Phenom Illinois will support teams for the ages of U13 through U18.

As a non-for-profit, we are dedicated to serving the players in our community by providing a great experience and by creating opportunities for career advancement beyond our baseball program. Phenom Illinois provides new national opportunities, but does so while harvesting the rich traditions the Crystal Lake Cardinals have established in the area for more than 30 years. This is an exciting time as we provide our players with new and unmatched opportunities for individual development and collegiate exposure.
